David is a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music where he studied both tuba and composition. Apart from his teaching work, David is regular Course Director and tutor for the Cambridge Holiday Orchestra. He also conducts several ensembles including Waterbeach Brass and the East Cambs Windband. 

As a former Arts Development Officer, David is passionate about the benefits that the arts can bring to all ages and communities, and is delighted to be involved with the relaunch of the Cambridge community Music Festival.
