"There are few skills more valuable and more transferable than musical expertise, and I think everyone should be given this opportunity as early in life as possible"

I’m a conductor, pianist and composer/arranger living in Cambridge for 20 years now. I work in London, the UK and abroad in concerts of orchestral repertoire ranging from the standard repertoire to film music and contemporary music with many collaborations with artists from both classical, jazz and pop worlds.

Although I have no official affiliation with the city or the University, I have participated as honorary president with the Holiday Orchestra and the King John Orchestra, and have performed many times at the West Road Concert Hall and Corn Exchange with visiting orchestras.

I believe that there are few greater pleasures than making music with friends, colleagues and bringing that pleasure to audiences around the world and especially in Cambridge. I like to play chamber music with friends as well as jazz and pop on the street with local musicians (weather permitting). There are few skills more valuable and more transferable than musical expertise and I think everyone, especially young people, should be given this opportunity as early in life as possible.
